Goodman signs pledge against government health care takoever

Sen. Jack Goodman, R-Mount Vernon, a candidate for the Seventh District Congressional seat, has signed the Clug for Growth Pledge to fight the proposed government health care program.

Jack Goodman has again shown the people of Missouri 's 7th Congressional District that he stands with their principles in the
fight against a government takeover of healthcare. The bill currently pushed by the out-of-touch majority in Congress would raise health care costs, cut Medicare and put bureaucrats between us and our doctors. By signing the Club for Growth's Pledge to repeal and replace this intrusive federal healthcare legislation, Senator Goodman reaffirmed his dedication to finding real solutions without growing government.

"I am honored to stand with the citizens of our district and the other leaders who have signed the Club for Growth's Pledge to repeal the proposed healthcare takeover if it passes. I also pledge that if this damaging legislation passes, I will work to replace it with one that reduces the costs to families, offers more choice, accessibility, market-based solutions and that does not include job-killing taxes," said Goodman.
