Speaker of the House Tilley on Teacher/Student Facebook Law: Did we pass that?

It comes toward the end of an informative interview of Speaker of the House Steve Tilley by PoliticMo's Eli Yokley, but apparently, the speaker had no idea that his chamber and the Senate had both passed Jane Cunningham's bill, which would ban teacher/student Facebook communication, and he is obviously taken by surprise by the question.

I wonder how many of his fellow legislators also did not bother to examine the bill.

Most of this video, though, should provide reassurance to Joplin residents that state officials are behind us as we recover from the tornado.

You do realize this is a "The ends justify the means" argument?

I think the law is horrendous. I presumes that teachers are predators.

All teachers are predators, aren't they? Thank goodness Jane Cunningham has found a way to stop all inappropriate adult/child relationships. If only she had been around sooner maybe Eve wouldn't have taken a bite from that fruit.
