Sarah Steelman is recognized for her willingness to take a stand when others wouldn’t. She has always put the people of Missouri ahead of her own self interest, and in the process she has sometimes suffered politically. Our Mother is many incredible things, but most importantly she is “Mom” to us. She has been out on the campaign trail non-stop, working to make sure that Claire McCaskill and Barack Obama are both removed from office. Now some may say how is that motherly? Well, you all have seen the football moms or the soccer moms who will come to their child’s side and help to defend them against whatever wrong has been done. Our Mom has always been there to do that for us, football, soccer, basketball as well.

As we have grown, and as the debt on our country has grown (a debt, which our generation will bear the brunt of), our Mom has redirected her attention to the new wrongdoer. No longer is it a bad referee or a bully in school-- it is the federal government under the direction of President Barack Obama and Claire McCaskill.
Mom is still being Mom, just on a much larger scale now. WE can no longer afford the disastrous polices that Barack Obama and Claire McCaskill continue to push.
