Joplin man pleads guilty to child pornography charges

A Joplin man pleaded guilty in U. S. District Court in Springfield this morning to receiving and distributing child pornography.

Judge David P. Rush ordered a pre-sentence hearing for Caleb Riley Adams, 25, who committed his crimes between October 14, 2020, and April 4, 2021, according to court documents.

Adams confessed to investigating officers, according to the charging documents and "stated that his preference was pre-teen minor females, but he had viewed child pornography with minors as young as babies."
