Love’s Travel Stops is now serving customers in Sarcoxie, Missouri, with its latest store opening along Interstate 44.
The location is 24/7 and offers all the amenities Love’s is known for including fresh food and drinks, Love’s branded snacks and an Arby’s.
For professional drivers, the travel stop adds 89 truck parking spaces to Love’s network and RVers have access to three RV hookups.
In honor of the grand opening, Love’s will split a $5,000 donation between the Sarcoxie Public Library and Sarcoxie Police Department.

Maybe they should also donate to the Fire Department, since the Mayor is closing this Rural Fire Department, and it might be useful if a fire started at Love's.
Or maybe they should donate however they want to. It’s not yours or my money, non of our business. Be thankful for what they gave.
Does this location have the fuel islands where the truckers can use the squeegees to wash their trucks?
2:53PM - It is my Business I am a Resident and Taxpayer in Sarcoxie, Jasper County, and the State of Missouri. Did they get TIFF, Bond, or Local or State Tax Incentives to Build there. If they did that is my Tax Money, and if you know anything about how Businesses Works, there are always Incentives that are requested - So if you don't know the truth - Please just don't say anything, you will look smarter.
Their Donations was just a PR (Public Relations) Move - Advertising and Tax Deduction, 2:53PM. Whether it is a Business, Corporation, or a Wealthy Donor - Why do you think they all Publicize it. Why does the Leggett & Platt Family Members, put their Names all over Buildings? Just walk into Freeman's or Mercy - look at the Plagues of all the Local Donators and Doctors on it.
If these Donations was Truly from the Heart - Why do they all have to get their Name on Something - - Recognition and Tax Breaks - Wake Up.
You fools are why people don’t donate, always crying it’s not enough, they donated to that but not this, they are getting tax breaks. You folks wear me out. I doubt you’ve gave more than $10 to anything but your the first to open your damn mouth and prove to me how dumb you are.
6:56PM - Donations, Giving, and Volunteering are Great, but the reason behind the Donations of some is another thing. This is the Point - Not the Amount - Why did they Donate?
Are they Donating for Good Cause from the Heart or are they trying to get Recognition, or Tax Benefits, for PR and Advertising - Did they just write a Check or did they actually do something. Did the Donator do it for their own Selfish Reasons -
My Family not only Tithes, Donates, but also Contributes to the Non-Profits and the Needy by Volunteering to Help - Not only putting our Hands, Good-Works, and Contributions to Helping Others. We use our Philtrophic and Financial means as a way of giving back to several Non-Profits and have done so for 3-Generations. So Giving-Back is a way of Life, not just a Talking-Point.
We do not ask for our Name on a Building, a Plaque, a Certificate, a Ceremony, Promotions in the Newspapers, or any type of Acknowledgment, and our Financial Contributions are Substantial - are Yours?
Have you ever Helped Buy, Prepare and Serve Food for Thanksgiving to the Less Fortunate - Helped Build a House, Donated any Time to any Charity - Yes we have Given more than your $10 as your Simplistic Berating Diatribe would even suggest - So maybe you need to Shut Your Damn Mouth - our Conscious is Clear of what we have done and why - is Yours?
So, everyone should Give-Back, the Questions is to be sure you are doing it for the Right-Motives and Reasons, not for Personal or Business Fame or to Write them off on Taxes.
A donation is a donation, don’t look a gift horse in the mouth. And yes I have done all of the above and I don’t tell or advertise it, your right hand should not know what the left hand does, I also have never claimed any donation on my taxes, I give freely with no strings attached no need for an atta boy, or a slap on the back. Please don’t overthink a simple donation.
8:34AM - You do not get it, if they are giving Donations, based on Receiving Tax, Tiff, Bond Dollars - They are Paying out Money they did not Earn, and using Taxpayers Money to Re-Gift and Glorify their Business.
This is what Businesses do - If someone steals from you and then Donates that Money is that truly a Donation? Of course, Not - But because our Government gives them our Taxpayers Money to Incentivize their Business, then makes a Donation with that Money is that Right? I would say - Not, again try to understand the difference - Your Volunteering, Your Hard-Earned Money for Donations, or Businesses that Receive Incentives to Build a Business, then they make a Donations, because they Received those Incentives - If Love's Travel Stop - was so Generous, why hadn't they given a Nickel of Money in the Past to Sarcoxie? Why!!!
