The Webb City R-7 Board of Education accepted the resignations of two teachers and hired five during its meeting this week.
Cathy West, a high school Spanish teacher, and Brent Worley, who had been hired as a special education teacher and was scheduled to begin his first year, submitted their resignations.
The following teachers were hired:
Mikayla Brooks, junior high math
Toni Dennis, middle school special education
Alice Morgan, junior high business exploration
Lexa Quisenberry, third grade, Mark Twain Elementary
Clary Wright, high school Spanish
