Three months after he allegedly used an AR-15 to shoot a man and narrowly miss hitting a woman, an Anderson man has been charged with financial exploitation of an elderly woman.
A 10 a.m. Wednesday arraignment is scheduled in McDonald County Circuit Court for Ryan Stabeno (DOB 1979), who is being held without bond in the McDonald County Detention Center.
In addition to the financial exploitation of the elderly charge, Stabeno is awaiting trial on two counts of assault, armed criminal action, two counts of armed criminal action, three counts of endangering the welfare of a child and a single count of tampering with a witness.
According to the probable cause statement on the latest charge, Stabeno moved in with the woman who was unable to drive, convinced her to give him her power of attorney and stole $34,700 from her bank account.

What a low life scumbag, Ryan Stabeno, hopefully gets a free vacation for years at the states expense.
