Sinquefield lobbyist wines and dines St. Louis mayor, chief of staff

In the same month he received a $50,000 campaign contribution from retired billionaire Rex Sinquefield, St. Louis Mayor Francis Slay was treated to a couple of expensive dinners by Sinquefield's lobbyist, according to documents filed with the Missouri Ethics Commission.

As noted in an earlier Turner Report post, Slay received the $50,000 present on Christmas Eve. Reports filed by Sinquefield lobbyist Travis Brown indicate Brown paid for $120 meals for Slay and chief of staff Jeff Rainford. Four days after the $50,000 gift, Brown spent $500 on meals for Slay and Rainford, $250 apiece, the documents indicate.

Where in the world do these people eat that costs $250.00 for one meal and some of them have several a day. I could eat for a year on what some of these guys eat in a week.
