Former Lamar High School principal's testimony: Common Core Standards work for us
In the accompanying video, Willard Superintendent Dr. Kent Medlin, a former Lamar High School principal, testifies in favor of Common Core Standards, as does one of his instructional coaches at a Senate Education Committee hearing.The instructional coach says that stopping Common Core would have a dramatic negative effect on morale.The highlight is an exchange between Medlin and Lt. Gov. Peter Kinder at the end of the video.
