McDonald County Health Department concerned about slight COVID-19 uptick

The McDonald County Health Department issued a reminder to citizens to follow proper protocol following a slight uptick in coronavirus cases.

Statistics posted on the department Facebook page Saturday evening showed five new COVID-19 cases, raising the county's total to 1,118.

Since there have been numerous days when new cases were down to one or two per day, the reminder was issued:

We are seeing an increase in cases and want to remind everyone to wear a mask, social distance and avoid large gatherings. We will not stop this upward trend without such small interventions.
