Missouri reports 57 COVID-19 deaths

 

Missouri added 57 deaths to its COVID-19 total, according to statistics released this afternoon by the Department of Health and Senior Services.

The total is the second highest one-day total, next to only the 77 reported September 5. Missouri has recorded 1,864 deaths due to the coronvirus

An additional 1,059 cases were confirmed during the reporting period, put the state's count at 115,366.

The percentage of tests returning positive was at 11.5, while 981 people are hospitalized.
