Joplin Health Department reports 23 new COVID-19 cases

The Joplin Health Department confirmed 23 new cases of COVID-19, according to statistics posted Friday night on the city's website.

To date, Joplin has 9,082 COVID cases, including 79 active cases.

The city's hospitals have 25 COVID patients, including three Joplin residents.

Joplin has recorded 183 deaths due to COVID-19.
