Seventh District Congressman Billy Long knows where the blame for mass shootings lies.
He is not claiming the problem is mental health and, of course, he doesn't place any of the blame on the availability of military-grade weapons.
The problem, Long said during an interview on 93.9 The Eagle in Columbia, is abortion.
"Something has happened to our society. I go back to abortion, when we decided it was okay to murder kids in their mothers' wombs. Life has no value to a lot of these folks."
Long is a candidate for the U. S. Senate seat currently held by Roy Blunt, who is retiring.

"Politicians who spend all day shouting in Congress so they can spend all night shouting on cable, they're peddling crack," Sasse said. "Most of it to people who are already addicted, but also with some glittery hopes of finding a new, angry, octogenarian out there."
