Mark Comer, 42, is being held in the Greene County Jail in Springfield after being charged by federal officials Tuesday.
The probable cause affidavit indicates the investigation of Comer began when a 13-year-old girl told the Carl Junction Police Department she had been sexually abused multiple times by Comer when she was 10 to 11 years old.While the Carl Junction police investigated that allegation, it received a report that Comer had molested a 10-year-old boy multiple times.
A search warrant execution revealed a considerable amount of child pornography on Comer's computer, according to the probable cause affidavit.
