Mac County science teacher taken into custody on statutory rape charge, posts bond

The McDonald County R-1 School District placed high school science teacher Joelle Stark on administrative leave after learning she was being investigated by the McDonald County Sheriff's Office, according to a post on the district's Facebook page today.

The investigation led to the filing of a statutory rape charge against Stark, who allegedly had sex with a student younger than age 17 between 2016 and 2018, according to the probable cause statement.

Stark was taken into custody today and posted a $10,000 surety bond.

The district's Facebook post, which is printed below, did not mention Stark by name:

McDonald County R-1 School District leaders were recently informed by law enforcement of an investigation involving a district teacher. That teacher was immediately placed on administrative leave.
Charges have now been filed in this case.

The district is fully cooperating with the McDonald County Sheriff’s Office as the legal process moves forward.

Because this is an active investigation, no further information can be shared at this time.

The safety of our students and staff remains our top priority.

What is Wrong with these people - are we just saturated with these morale less pedophiles on every street corner -

Our nation lost its moral compass many years ago.
All of the elements that create a moral society are laughed at and mocked.
People defend lying.
Our media participates in lying and then creates a movement to shutdown free speech.
The media lies about Joe Biden's health condition.
When they can no longer deny the truth, the media simply declares that investigating their history of lying is a waste of time and energy.
The media tells us that we have bigger problems than their (the media's) lies, and we need to move on.
People defend school teachers who create pornography of themselves and post it on the internet for money.
What do people do?
They defend the teacher for being in pornographic videos and for earning money in porn.
"Teachers wouldn't have to work in porn if we paid them more money"
A teacher lies about being sick and missing work.
When the school district finds out that the teacher lied and the district wants to terminate her employment.
Who protests against the district terminating a teacher's employment for lying to her employer?
Who protests the termination of a teacher's employment for posting pornography online for money?
Parents, mainly women from my feedback experience.
People are blurring wrong when it comes to human sexual behaviors.
Anyone who stands up against these real-life acts of immorality are verbally attacked and bullied.
This is what we get in return.
No one should be surprised.
