Webb City precinct worker in auto accident, final election results delayed

The Jasper County treasurer's race is still undecided with Assistant Treasurer Denise Rohr holding a slim lead over Assistant County Clerk Mary Lou Newman-Teel and it looks like we will have to wait a little longer to find out the results.

KZRG is reporting that the Webb City precinct worker who was delivering the ballots was involved in a non-injury accident when the other driver ran a stopsign.

The precinct is the only one that has not been added to the results.

As noted earlier, Carthage Assistant Police Chief Randee Kaiser won 60 percent of the vote, more than doubling incumbent Archie Dunn to win the sheriff's race.
