Redings Mill Fire Protection District issues statement on death of firefighter

During the recent weekend, we, along with other public safety organizations, experienced the loss of an exceptional individual in an off-duty incident. 

Tucker Berry joined the fire service with a singular mission: "To Serve Selflessly." 

Subsequently, he became deeply engrossed in self-improvement and pursued continuous education to enhance his capabilities. 

Despite the brevity of his tenure, his impact will forever change the Redings Mill Fire District. His approach to every opportunity was characterized by an enthusiasm to acquire knowledge and an unwavering sense of optimism. 

As an outstanding firefighter/EMT, his absence will be deeply felt by all. To have known him was to have held great affection for him. Our condolences extend to all who are grappling with the departure of this exceptional young man. Tucker's final wish is to continue selfless service through organ donation.
