Anderson woman who shot and killed her sleeping husband sentenced to life in prison

An Anderson woman who shot and killed her sleeping husband November 16, 2021, was sentenced to life in prison without parole today by Judge Kevin Selby.

Dawn Renee Wynn, 52, was also sentenced to 15 years on an armed criminal action charge with the sentences to run consecutively.

Judge Selby overruled Wynn's motion for a new trial.

A McDonald County jury found Wynn guilty following a two-day trial in August.

Finally, a Sentence to suit the Crime - Life in Prison for Dawn Renee Wynn. Even though Judge - Kevin Selby - and the Prosecutors are IDIOTS who allowed her Bond Out on Murder Charges - then she eventually fled to Indiana until the US Marshalls tracked her down and brought her back for trial.

Even their Daughter - Savannah told PEOPLE Magazine that when she learned that her mother — whom she further described as "greedy and selfish" — might be released from jail on bail, she contacted local prosecutors and the Victim Advocates office for help.

"I begged them not to grant bond," Savannah recalls. "I told them, 'She will run. I don't want her out.' I'm pretty upset about it all."

Savannah says police have hinted that they suspect money was the prime motive behind her dad's killing.
