Republican attorney general candidate Michael Gibbons picked up another $30,000 in oversized contributions Friday, according to a 48-hour report filed Sunday with the Missouri Ethics Commission.
Gibbons received $10,000 from Leggett & Platt, Carthage; and $5,000 contributions from Missouri Republican Leadership Council, St. Louis; Schnucks Markets, St. Louis; KCS Rail PAC, Jefferson City; and Missouri Chamber PAC, Jefferson City.
Meanwhile Gibbons' Democratic opponent, Chris Koster, in a 48-hour filing this morning, reported $24,500 in $5,000+ contributions, including $7,500 from the Life Science Fund of the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce, $7,000 from Heavy Construction Local Laborers' Union No. 663, Kansas City; and $5,000 apiece from IUPAT, Washington, D. C.; and Laborers' Local Union 579 PAC, St. Joseph.
