Cynthia does it again: Worst Person in the World

For the second time in three days, Countdown host Keith Olbermann named Rep. Cynthia Davis, whose hunger for votes she takes more seriously than the hunger of children, was named "Worst Person in the World."

Olbermann indicated that Mrs. Davis may be heading for repeat appearances at the top of the list and encouraged her to resign.

Randy,
Either you are watching MSNBC too much and it is corrupting your mind, or your mind was already corrupted and therefore you watch MSNBC to have your views validated. I hope you don't teach your students that shows like Keith's are real news.
I also hope that your frequent attempts to argue that this person is bad because she "doesn't want to feed children" are not driven by your belief that it is so. If you argue that a four-day school week isn't good because kids will have two fewer meals a week, why not argue for Saturday school so they can have two extra meals a week? We already have taxpayer funded meals for children of poor families -- it's called food stamps -- and I see people using their taxpayer-funded debit cards at the convenience store buying candy bars and 2-liter bottles of soda all the time. If their children were hungry, they could use that subsidy to buy food. We don't need to take the money we pay to educate all children, and use it to provide food -- especially when school is not in session. Keith O. uses the idea against Davis becuase he is a comedian and someone saying "don't feed hungry children" is sensational and good entertainment. When you do it, you make people believe you really think that way. And that's scary because you teach middle school children. It's not funny, Randy.
