How Billy Long learned what an abortion is, plus Michele Bachmann
This video has a little bit of everything. Seventh District Congressman Billy Long relates how he first learned what an abortion was and his fellow Republican legislator, Michele Bachmann of Minnesota, also delivers a pro-life message:

No woman ever chooses abortion lightly. Both Bachman and Long indicate that abortion is the destruction of "innocent life" at the hands of the system, which they say promotes abortion. This is patently false. In my opinion, a woman who chooses to abort should not be stopped from doing so. And making it an issue for politicians is stupid. It is a medical procedure that is safe and legal within the precepts of the law, and should remain so. As a woman, I have the right to choose not to have a child. And anyone who wants to take this right away from me is unwelcome in my society. There are far more important issues in government for Long and Bachmann to consider than abortion. For example, the United States has the highest incidence of infant mortality in the civilized world. If they are so concerned about babies, let's see them tackle that.
I would like to suggest two books that you might want to read. One is written by Abby Johnson who quit her job as a director of Planned Parenthood in Oct. 2009. Her book is entitled "Unplanned." The other book, "Gianna" is about the true story of a woman who survived a saline abortion as an unborn baby girl and speaks on exactly what happened and how it has affected her life. Abortion was not safe for her by any means. And I have to ask: when did it become a "right" to kill an unborn baby in your "society" or any other for that matter? I am so thankful for organizations like LifeChoices who give all the facts to young women facing an unplanned pregnancy...not out of judgment but out of love.
