Air Force One about to touch down at Joplin airport

Seventh District Congressman Billy Long tweeted a couple of minutes ago that it was less than five minutes until Air Force One touched down at the Joplin airport.

Reportedly Highway 171 is wall-to-wall traffic as people wait for the opportunity to see the plane.

The president will tour the tornado-stricken areas of Joplin, have a press conference at about 1:25 p.m. and then speak at the memorial service at Missouri Southern State University, which begins at 2 p.m.
