Seventh District Congressman Billy Long issued the following response after President Obama's jobs speech Thursday night:
“President Obama is a gifted speaker and tonight he said a lot of things that both Democrats and Republicans can agree on,” said Long. “Unfortunately, what he says and what he does are two different things.”
“At a time when zero new jobs were added last month - only the second time since 1945, the unemployment rate remains at 9.1% - the longest streak above 8% since the Great Depression, and the Congressional Budget Office projects a budget deficit of $1.3 trillion in FY 2011 – the third year with $1 trillion deficits, now is not the time to continue the failed policies of the Obama Administration.”

So, does he want to follow the failed policies of the Republicans? At least Obama has put something out there. I almost forgot Billy is beholding to Grover Norquist. He cannot govern because he signed the no tax pledge. Why would he pledge to anything other than the constitution? Let us know Billy.
I know Belly Long is "Fed Up" and against spending, and heaven help us if they make more stimulus money available. You remember that "Evil Stimulis Money" that was spent in the last couple years.
Well read this Belly:
To Quote a Piece on KY3:
The newly-widened U.S. 65 opened last week. The 6-laning project was paid for partly with a gift, of sorts, from the feds.
“We were able to put some stimulus money into this project because it was already started with the planning,” explained Bob Edwards, spokesperson for the Missouri Department of Transportation.
In all, Missouri received $711-million for projects like U.S. 65, and U.S. 60 west of Republic.
“I know that was a very controversial program. But the money we got for infrastructure, for roads and bridges, we put it out there right away on project we thought would benefit people,” Edwards said.
The intent of President Obama’s 2009 stimulus program was to upgrade the nation’s infrastructure while provide new jobs. MoDOT says the funding certainly helped, and it was able to keep 61,000 construction workers on the payrolls.
“In terms of jobs and job creation, it did exactly what it was intended to do,” said Dave Roling, branch manager of Emery Sapp and Sons, the primary contractor for the U.S. 65 project.
Evil wasn't it, kept 61000 jobs. Geessss what a bunch.

BILLY, as far I remember, you were a staunch W. supporter. You didn't see anything wrong then, so, no need of your hindsight wisdom now either!
