Wednesday was a good day for the re-election campaign of Sen. Bill White, R-Joplin.

A 24-hour report filed today with the Missouri Ethics Commission shows $40,000 in contributions from the following sources:

At least $500 of his $40,000 came from our area. Bill will spend $100,000 plus to win a $40,000 a year job. Let's you know he has our best interests at heart.

I planned on voting for Bill until all the negative commercials came out. When you're the established front runner why be so nasty?
