(From the Carthage R-9 School District)We’re proud to announce that Natalie Cowley has been selected as the new Director of Language Services!
Natalie brings more than a decade of experience in bilingual education, dual language programs, and student support. Most recently, she served as a principal in Illinois, leading a K–3 dual language school, and her earlier work in rural Alaska helped shape her people‑first, community‑centered approach to education.
She will succeed longtime leader Jana Sawyer, who is retiring after more than 30 years of service. We are deeply grateful for the incredible foundation she built for Carthage students and families.
