A change of plea is scheduled for 11 a.m. Monday, May 11 in U. S. District Court in Springfield for Damien Wyatt Dentis, 46, Joplin, who is charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute.According to the probable cause affidavit, the DEA and Newton County Sheriff's Office SWAT executed a search warrant December 18 at 4486 Harold Lane, Joplin, after investigators recorded multiple controlled buys of methamphetamine from Dentis between June and October 2025.
