(From Joplin Schools)Huge congratulations to our 2026 Golden Apple Award winners! These educators were nominated by students, parents, and peers, and were awarded at last night's ceremony hosted by the Joplin Area Chamber of Commerce.
Pre-K–2nd Grade winner: Juliana Fontenot, Eastmorland Elementary
3rd–5th Grade winner: Ryan Lovell, Soaring Heights Elementary
6th–8th Grade winner: Rachel Bowyer, South Middle School
9th–12th Grade winner: Monica Brown, Joplin High School
We are so proud of these teachers for the impacts they are making in the lives of their students and families! Many thanks to JACC and the event sponsors who helped provide this recognition for our Eagles, plus the families who took time to write letters of nomination.
