Help me with this mystery.
What person connected to both Bruce Speck and Gary Nodler has a law degree, a superiority complex, a penchant for sending anonymous messages to The Turner Report, and may be the biggest whiner I have run into in the past three decades?
If you have an answer and want to guess which comments were posted by this person (actually, over the past few years), please feel free to answer this post.

Gee, I don't know... Could his initials be DD? We refer to him as "Little Napoleon". He has done more to damage MSSU than anyone. Let me repeat that. Dwight Douglas has done more to damage MSSU than anyone. It started with the firing of Julio in a shoddy manner at the beginning of an academic year instead of the end. It continued with befriending and directing Speck to do his bidding while some how managing to blind the rest of the Board to the outrageous behavior of his protege. On that note, one can only conclude that the rest of the Board are spineless or clueless or both. The current negative publicity will only grow and fester until Speck is gone, further damaging the university. The faculty senate of MSSU should seek the removal of both Speck and Douglas by providing evidence to the Board AND the Governor. MSSU is bleeding...
Randy, you skate on very thin ice
I concur with Anon 11:54. I used to look up to Douglas and was always impressed that he had previously served as chairman of the board at Missouri State University. But now I know what he is: a petty, egotistical tyrant who cares more about his own ego than being a true public servant. If only the Missouri Ethics Commission would look into his behavior!
That's an easy one, Randy. The person described would not be someone with a superiority complex. Rather, it's an "inferiority" complex and his actions are meant to compensate for shortness of stature, both physically and intellectually.
How many guesses do I get? Could there be more than one answer? Such as,Person or persons with Superiority Complex?;Person with Highest total of Anonymous messages and what qualifies one to be nominated as: Biggest Whiner to the Turner Report? Female or male?That catagory alone merits further discussion.
I wouldn't worry too much about being on "thin ice," as Dwight Douglas is a public figure who has thrust himself into the limelight and is therefore worthy of criticism. Plus, nothing that Randy stated is untrue. The best defense of libel is truth.
So, Dwight, you should curl up your lizard tail and high-tail it back to Newton County where you belong. And take that worthless sycophantic Gary Nodler with you. He is wrong for Missouri, in every way.

This post might have a chilling effect on future "Anonymous" comments. By allowing the publication of anonymous comments, Randy is acting as a journalist pledging to protect the identity of those who post. I'm sure that he does get some clues (IP addresses, etc.) as to identities. DD's comments and those of his supporters are obvious and annoying. However, they are insightful and Randy's making this a front page issue signals that he is willing to compromise his anonymous posters. It should make those of us who comment regularly as "anonymous" think twice.
Be not afraid. DD is a public figure in a grotesque sort of way. Please post anything and everything that will shine a light into the dark corner that DD and Speck occupy.
I don't care a flying Fig if everybody in the universe somehow figures out my true identity. And I would trust Randy, anyway, not to reveal it if he knew. Which, by the way, he probably doesn't. There is no sure way for him to figure out who comments if they choose to remain anonymous.
The only people who have anything to fear are those public figures who have been doing bad things or illegal things and who are afraid of being caught or found out.
