Tornado survivors and others who contributed to the book 5:41: Stories from the Joplin Tornado, have been invited to join co-authors John Hacker and me at the book's first official signing 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 24, at Hastings Books in Joplin.
Three have confirmed they will be there and be available to sign copies of the book.
The contributors will also receive free copies of the book.
This is something John and I have wanted to do from the beginning since about one-third of the book features these first person accounts of tornado survival and help with the recovery.
The book is on the shelves at Hastings already and is also available at Changing Hands Book Shop in Joplin, as well as online at its own E-store and from Amazon.com
I will provide more information on which contributors will be there in a later post.

Congratulations on a project successfully completed. Have a good time at the signing! It will be a warm and emotional gathering, I am sure.
