MSSU Board approves budget, $372,000 alloted for raises, promotions
The MSSU Board just approved the budget for the next fiscal year, with $186,000 set aside for faculty pay increases and $186,000 for raises coming with promotions.
That really does not amount to much.

That is incorrect. For the second year in a row there will not across the board pay increase at MSSu. 186000 was approved for increases to professional staff (accountants, admissions,etc.) and 186000 for promotions to about 20 or so faculty. The other 200 plus faculty and about 150 other personnel will get nothing.zilch! What a place...
Thanks for the information. I misunderstood what was meant by the word "professional." Apparently, faculty is not included in that description, as far as the board is concerned.
