During a video arraignment this morning in Jasper County Circuit Court, Eddie Salazar Sr. pleaded not guilty to a charge of making a false statement to police.
Salazar, 28, is the father of eight-month-old Eddie Salazar Jr. , whose body was found Saturday in Spring River. Further charges are possible based on the final autopsy report.
The next court date for Salazar is March 3.
