The two biggest newspapers in Jasper County took different approaches on their YouTube channels today.
While The Carthage Press used is channel to provide ooverage of Carthage Police Chief Greg Dagnan's press conference concerning the disappearance of eight-month-old Eddie Salazar Jr. of Carthage.(What is believed to be the infant's body was found today in Spring River), the Joplin Globe used its channel to reveal information about another breaking story- a contest to sell the most subscriptions to the newspaper:
