I-44 in Oklahoma is closed, meaning motorists must exit I-44 before they get to Oklahoma. Exits with motels and restaurants are in Springfield, Mt. Vernon and Joplin.
I-44 is Missouri is still open, although it's snow covered. Travel is not advised.
