May 16 trial date set for accused child killer Eddie Salazar

A Monday, May 16, trial date has been scheduled in Jasper County Circuit Court for Eddie Salazar Sr. Carthage, who is charged with second degree murder in connection with the February 2010 death of his eight-month-old son Eddie Salazar Jr.

The child's body was found in February in Spring River. The autopsy determined the infant died from blunt force head trauma.
