Three speakers formerly associated with Missouri Southern State University's newspaper, The Chart, are featured speakers at the annual Missouri College Media Association (MCMA) convention this weekend in St. Joseph.
Former Chart adviser T. R. Hanrahan, who was adviser of the year in 2010, following a win as Journalist of the Year 15 years earlier as an MSSU student, will speak, as will former Chart staffers Alexandra Nicolas, currently web editor for the Joplin Globe, and last year's Journalist of the Year Brennan Stebbins, currently sports editor for The Carthage Press.
