My 2009 memoir Newspaper Days, covering my journalism career from May 1977 when I started at the Newton County News in Granby to 1999 when I was fired at The Carthage Press following Terry Reed's $1.5 billion libel suit, is now available for $3.99 on Kindle.
In addition to complete details on the libel suit, the book also details changes in southwest Missouri journalism over those 22 years, details from the biggest and most memorable stories I covered during that time, and the story of how I decided to leave newspapers and go into teaching.
Two of my other books, The Turner Report from 2007, and my novel, Devil's Messenger from 2006 are also available on Kindle, as well as in Nook versions.
