A WINTER STORM IS EXPECTED TO BRING A SWATH OF ACCUMULATING SNOW
TO EXTREME SOUTHEASTERN KANSAS AND THE MISSOURI OZARKS FROM
SATURDAY NIGHT INTO SUNDAY. PORTIONS OF THE OUTLOOK AREA MAY
RECEIVE MORE THAN FOUR INCHES OF SNOWFALL. IT APPEARS THAT THE
HIGHEST AMOUNTS WILL OCCUR EAST OF HIGHWAY 65.

TEMPERATURES WILL FAIL TO WARM OUT OF THE SINGLE DIGITS
MONDAY...WHILE OVERNIGHT LOWS WILL DROP TO NEAR OR BELOW ZERO
SUNDAY AND MONDAY NIGHTS. DANGEROUSLY COLD WIND CHILLS OF 10 TO 25
DEGREES BELOW ZERO WILL OCCUR AT TIMES SUNDAY NIGHT THROUGH
MONDAY NIGHT.
