A WINTER STORM SYSTEM REMAINS LIKELY TO DEVELOP OVER THE MIDWEST LATE SATURDAY AND SATURDAY NIGHT. SNOW IS EXPECTED TO DEVELOP OVER THE REGION SATURDAY EVENING AND MOVE NORTHEASTWARD INTO THE OHIO RIVER VALLEY REGION ON SUNDAY. A SWATH OF ACCUMULATING SNOW IS LIKELY ACROSS THE ENTIRE OUTLOOK AREA. FOR LOCATIONS WEST OF HIGHWAY 65...BETWEEN 2-5 INCHES OF ACCUMULATING SNOW IS EXPECTED. FOR LOCATIONS EAST OF HIGHWAY 65 CORRIDOR A WINTER STORM WATCH IS NOW IN EFFECT FROM 9 PM SATURDAY NIGHT THROUGH 3 PM SUNDAY. FROM 5 TO 7 INCHES OF SNOW FALL IS EXPECTED WITH LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS POSSIBLE. PLEASE STAY TUNED TO THE LATEST FORECASTS AS UPDATES WILL FURTHER REFINE SNOW ACCUMULATION EXPECTATIONS. HIGH TEMPERATURES ON MONDAY WILL STRUGGLE TO RISE INTO THE SINGLE DIGITS ABOVE ZERO. LOWS MONDAY NIGHT WILL RANGE FROM AROUND 5 DEGREES BELOW ZERO ACROSS CENTRAL MISSOURI TO AROUND 5 DEGREES ABOVE ZERO ACROSS FAR SOUTHWESTERN MISSOURI.
