Joplin R-8 Board to announce name for new elementary school, approve purchase of video scoreboard


The Joplin R-8 Board of Education will name the district's new elementary school and approve the purchase of a video scoreboard for Junge Field when it meets 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Memorial Education Building.

A closed session is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. to discuss personnel and real estate.
