Joplin woman charged with embezzling from Carthage dental practice waives arraignment, pleads not guilty

A Joplin woman who allegedly embezzled more than $100,000 from Cornerstone Family Dental in Carthage, waived her arraignment today in Jasper County Circuit Court and entered a not guilty plea.

Miranda Wolf, 43, who is charged with three counts of felony stealing, worked at Cornerstone Family Dental for 24 years, serving as office manager for three years before leaving in January 2020.

The probable cause statement indicates Wolf allegedly spent more than $27,000 on the company credit card on herself and gave herself a nearly $45,000 a year raise in 2019.

Wolf's next hearing is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. February 17.

I'm having Peggy Newton flashbacks.

Good Old Peggy Newton - Who Tried to Declare Bankruptcy and not have to Pay Back Mrs. Pyle and the rest of the Creditors she Scammed after getting out of Jail - Peggy's Actions caused her Business Partner to have to File Bankruptcy - Thank Goodness the Bankruptcy Court saw through Peggy's Plans - and Disallowed her from wiping out her Debts - because she committed a Criminal Act. Has she ever Payed any of her Debts Back.

Yes - Sounds like Peggy all over again. The Interesting thing is when you read the actual Court Documents on Peggy's Judgement from Mrs. Pine it tells the Truth about her Stealing $150,000 and Paying off her Debts, Her Husbands Debt - I am assured some of those Cars Brian and their Son Flaunt, Private School Tuition for her Child and Tennis Club Membership, Vacations, Shopping Sprees - Has she every paid back the Judgement?

Does anyone else remember how there was what appeared like a pack of howling dogs attacking any factual post or comment concerning the alleged bad activity?

I'd like to know if all the money owed in the judgement was repaid in a timely fashion.

Peggy Newton is quite active on MO Case Net.

Wow...judge much? I thought this article was about Miranda Wolf, not Peggy Newton who actually paid for her crime by going to prison for 2 years! I certainly hope and pray you never make a mistake.

Oh look at 4:01PM.

Is it the same judge not finger pointer?

Or a different judge not finger pointer?

Either way, I'm having a pack of howling dogs flashback!

P.S. 4:01PM here's a question:

Does it matter whether or not she paid back all of the money?

Or if she paid back any of the money?

NO THIS IS ALL ABOUT DEJAUV - - Miranda Wolf and Peggy Newton - - WHAT A PAIR....

IF YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND THE LAW - SHE WAS SENTENCED TO TWO YEARS IN JAIL AND RESTITUTION OF $150,000 - - THAT IS REQUIRED BY LAW!!!

Yes, It Matters - - Whether she Paid Back the Money - - She Spent Stolen Money on Herself, Her Husband, and Child - - All under the Newton's Jewelry Banner - - If you Receive - STOLEN ANYTHING YOU ARE AN ACCOMPLICE. It clearly States in the Transcripts - She Paid Off her Husband Brian's Loans - - If these were on his Cars - They Should be Sold to Pay back the Debts... You DO NOT GET TO PROFIT FROM THE ILLEGAL GAINS OF OTHERS...

So If She Stole Money - Part of HER SENTENCE WAS TO PAY BACK $150,000 - - - IT IS CALLED RESTITUTION...
