Former Duquesne resident charged with stautory rape, two counts of statutory sodomy


The Jasper County Prosecuting Attorney filed two counts of statutory sodomy and one count of statutory rape against a former Duquesne resident who allegedly committed the crimes against a girl between 2019 and 2022 beginning when she was in third grade.

The Duquesne Police Department received information from the Department of Social Services and began investigating allegations against Destin Tyler Hussong (DOB 1990), according to the probable cause statement.







The Grove Police Department set up an interview with the girl at the Children's Center, where she detailed the abuse, according to the statement.

She said during, if she tried to scream, he would put his hand over her mouth. She said afterward he would warn her not to tell anyone or he would go to jail and he would deny everything.
