Judge David Mouton sentenced Jason Black (DOB 1974), Joplin, to 15 years in prison today. Black pleaded guilty October 6 to child molestation in the second degree.
The 15-year sentence was the maximum sentence allowed by law, according to a news release from the Jasper County Prosecuting Attorney's office.
Judge David Mouton handed down a sentence of 15 years in the Department of Corrections, the maximum sentence allowed by law, on defendant, Jason Black, in Jasper County Circuit Court today.Black's guilty plea was part of a plea agreement in which two counts of statutory sodomy were dismissed.
According to the probable cause statement filed in December 2023 in Jasper County Circuit Court, Jason Black molested a girl beginning when she was eight in 2020 and continuing for three years.
In addition to sexual acts with the child, Black sent several text messages to the child and "requested {the child} send him 'sexy photos,' including photos without her clothes on," the probable cause statement said.

This is what every pedophile should face - No more slaps on the wrist or probation - they need to live their best life in prison.
He still got a damn slap on the wrist. Fifteen years and he’s out, not to mention he gets free food, free clothing, shoes, electric, water, internet , college if he wants.. all on our tax dollar.
While this young child will be phucked up her entire life. She’s only thirteen .
She still has at least 60 more years to live with this horror she went through.
