The Webb City R-7 Board of Education was notified of six retirements during its Tuesday meeting.
Those submitting their papers to retire were:
-Darrell Hicks, assistant junior high principal and athletic director
-Jeff Wilkie, high school principal
-Beth Buford, middle school vocal music instructor
-Leigh Miller, high school counselor
-Mark Leaming- high school special education teacher
-Shawn Klosterman- aquatics director, swim coach
The board also approved the appointment of Kathy Harris as high school softball coach.

jeff is the principal to ever walk webb city’s hallways.
So happy she finally gets the recognition and opportunity to be the Head Coach of the Lady Cardinals Softball Ball program, long overdue.
