The Webb City R-7 Board of Education was notified of six retirements during its Tuesday meeting.
Those submitting their papers to retire were:
-Darrell Hicks, assistant junior high principal and athletic director
-Jeff Wilkie, high school principal
-Beth Buford, middle school vocal music instructor
-Leigh Miller, high school counselor
-Mark Leaming- high school special education teacher
-Shawn Klosterman- aquatics director, swim coach
The board also approved the appointment of Kathy Harris as high school softball coach.
