Lawmakers fix law that should never have been passed

There wasn't a big outcry about it, especially in this area where a large majority of the population seems to think that you should have a right to carry a gun anytime, anyplace, and anywhere, but a bill to fix a law that should never have been passed in the first place, was signed into law Tuesday by Missouri Governor Matt Blunt.
The law addresses funding issues with the state's concealed weapons law. The original law was passed after Missouri legislators decided that the people must have been delusional when they voted down a constitutional amendment that would have permitted the carrying of concealed weapons a few years back, so the lawmakers, who obviously know better than the people what they really want, simply overrode their wishes and voted it in themselves four years later.
Thanks to our elected officials Missourians now have the right to carry concealed weapons for their protection...and to wonder if that clown next to us with the anger management issues has one, too.
