Joplin family contributes $125,000 to House Republican Campaign Committee

The Humphreys family, owners of TAMKO Roofing Products in Joplin, have contributed $125,000 to the House Republican Campaign Committee in the last two weeks, according to 48-hour reports filed with the Missouri Ethics Commission. Family matriarch Ethelmae Humphreys contributed $25,000 according to a report filed today, while her son, David Humphreys, contributed $100,000, according to a report filed May 27.

David Humphreys' $100,000 contribution came one day after he made a $50,000 contribution to the Missouri Republican Party.

think how much good they could do if they were to contribute this much money to the local homeless shelter or food bank or community clinic. they could help so many more people in so many different ways.

What makes you think they don't already do that quietly. With that wealth it sure would nice if they do something for the poors in the community. Let's not forget, however, how many jobs in our community depend on Tamko and their success.
