Accused killer of Nevada teens asks for change of judge, venue

Garrett Mason, 17, Nevada, accused of stabbing two Nevada High School students to death May 25, is asking for a change of judge and change of venue, according to online Vernon County Circuit Court records.

Mason is charged with two counts of first degree murder for the May 25 deaths of Annie Reed, 18, and Kylie Leyva, 14, of Nevada.

The next hearing in the case is scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 8.
