Court documents show over the years, at Kanakuk, Newman made several relationships with young boys. Most are now in their twenties, investigators say Newman arranged sleepovers and Bible studies with the boys to get to know them. They believe Newman invited them into his hot tub, naked where the sex acts happened.
In June, the camp's owner received an eight-page letter from Newman confessing his actions and offering an apology. The documents say that was when Newman was fired.
