When Darren Winans, 22, Jasper, and Matthew Laurin, 19, Springfield, are arraigned 9 a.m. Friday for the Oct. 11 murders of Bob and Ellen Sheldon of Carthage, they will be not in the courtroom.
Online Jasper County Circuit Court documents indicate a video arraignment has been ordered by Judge Gayle Crane.
Winans and Laurin are charged with two counts of first degree murder and two counts of armed criminal action.
