In an interview this morning on KZRG, Carthage Assistant Police Chief Randee Kaiser, who defeated incumbent Sheriff Archie Dunn in the primary Tuesday, said he did not think it was naive, as Dunn had said, to think that he can work with the Jasper County Commission. Dunn, of course, had a contentious relationship with the Commission during most of his tenure.
Asked if he received a concession call from Dunn Tuesday night, Kaiser said, "I have not spoken with him."
