Ruestman has $33,673.52 in campaign chest

Legislative district committees accounted for most of the $8,475 raised by State Rep. Marilyn Ruestman, R-Joplin, during the past three months, according to campaign finance documents filed with the Missouri Ethics Commission last week.
The $8,475 brings Ms. Ruestman's available money up to $33,673.52, according to the documents.
She received big-time funding from district legislative party committees, which are not bound by the $300 donor limit. Her report indicated she received:
-$2,600 from the 131st District Legislative Committee.
-$1,975 from the 129th District Committee
-$3,000 from the 127th District Legislative Committee
-$400 from 131st District Legislative Committee
The only other contributions she reported receiving during the reporting period were: $100 from Five Mile Ranch, Seneca; $100 from Nick Myers CPA, Joplin; and $300 from Missouri Bankers Association Ozark Region PAC.
She reported only $100 in expenditures, including $68 to the McDonald County Press for advertising. That was a far cry from the April expenditures, which totaled $10,161.53, mostly in reimbursements to the Ruestman family, the report indicates.
Among those were:
-$104.76 to Ruestman Construction for reimbursement, no specifics given
-$900.07 to Ruestman, Inc. for postage reimbursement
-$1,827.59 to Ruestman Investment for office supply reimbursement
-$197 to Ruestman Investment for advertising reimbursement.
Not listed as as reimbursement was the paying of $5,099.75 to Ruestman Investment for "contract labor."
